Company Confidentiality Agreement Policy
Lazy Day Foods Ltd produce food products for various retail own label brands and its own brand. To maintain integrity of the brand and our customers' specifications and processes, all information gained during the period of the visit is confidential, whether gained as documentation, verbally or visually. For customer visits, all information gained shall be clearly labelled and marked as subject to the visiting customer authorised by Lazy Day Foods Ltd.
Health and Safety Visitor Rules
Whilst on the premises, all visitors are subject to Company Regulations and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. All signs and notices must be obeyed.
- Visitor's vehicles must be parked so as not to obstruct fire escape routes, roads.
- Any incidents, injuries or illness must be reported to the host immediately.
- All visitors must follow the fire procedures as instructed.
If You Hear the Fire Alarm (Continuous Sounding of Sirens)
- Evacuate the building via the nearest and safest emergency exit.
- Make your way to the designated assembly point and identify yourself to the person in charge, if separated from the person you were visiting.
- DO NOT re-enter the building until instructed to do so by the person in charge of the evacuation.
If You Discover a Fire
- Activate the nearest fire alarm call point by breaking the glass.
- DO NOT attempt to extinguish the fire.
- Evacuate the building via the nearest and safest emergency exit.

Keep passageways / corridors free from trip hazards.
All visitors or contractors carrying out engineering work must complete the necessary documents for visiting Maintenance/ Engineers and a report for completed work. This must be given to Manager responsible for you visit. Please ensure that you remove any equipment carefully before leaving the premises.
Food Safety Visitor Rules
Personal Protective clothing including hairnets, overcoats and shoes and if necessary snoods are provided by the company. Hair must be confined to a visitor hairnet when visiting the factory. Please do not enter as a visitor to the site. Please remove all Personal Protective clothing when leaving the production area when going to Toilet, Canteen, Outside or offices leaving the site.
All watches and jewellery must be removed, except for one plain wedding band. Any visitor requiring wearing jewellery of a ethnic, medical, or religious nature for which permission is sought must inform the Lazy Day Foods Ltd representative responsible for the visit - Section 4 must be completed by LDF Responsible person.
Fingernails must be clean and short. False nails must not be worn. Nail varnish, False Eyelash's or Eyelash extensions are not worn. Section 4 must be completed by LDF Responsible person.
All open wounds must be covered by a factory issued metal detectable blue plaster, were necessary blue glove. If you need these plaster, please inform the LDF Responsible person immediately. Section 4 must be completed by LDF Responsible person.
Visitors using personal medicines that may affect work performance and/or the safety of themselves and/or others must inform the Lazy Day Foods Ltd representative responsible for the visit - Section 4 must be completed by LDF Responsible person.
Hands should be washed often and always throughout the day, on entering the production area, after being in the toilet, after handle waste and/or non-food material i.e. tubes, after coughing or sneezing, blowing nose, after combing your hair, after touch face/food, tying laces, touching floor.
Smoking or using e cigarettes is only permitted outside the factory in the smoking shelter provided.
Lazy Day Foods is a nut free site. No nuts should be brought on site.
Security Rules for Visitors
A manager or nominated deputy must accompany visitors at all times, unless authorised to work in the factory alone. In this case, the visitor must remain within authorised areas and retain contact with the LDF Responsible person by using company phones/ company two-way radios.
